Policies

Grading and Pricing

We do our best to price fairly based on the latest demand and online resources. We do regular price checking across all locations to maintain the most up-to-date adjustments that is possible with our expansive library. Pricing can vary based on cosmetic condition and/or completion referring to missing manuals or other originally included items with the game or system. Below is a short clip to further explain how we grade our games.

Console Package

All of our video game consoles include:
– The video game console
– 1 original controller
– 1 AV or HDMI cable
– 1 power supply
– A 2 month warranty with the receipt

Trade-In Process

Our game and console collection is entirely provided by the items that are traded in from our valued customers. In the effort to keep that process as fair and profitable for both parties, we keep all rates consistent and at a flat rate. These rates include:
Cash – 30% of the item’s value
Store Credit – 50% of the item’s value
Store Credit for Pokemon games and merchandise – 80% of the item’s value
WE DO NOT offer quotes over the phone. Please come into a location for us to provide an accurate quote of your collection.

Disc Buffing

Currently, only our Escondido location offers disc buffing services for:
– CD
– DVD
– Gamecube discs
– Blu-ray
– HD Discs
While we do not guarantee that the buffing process will save your desired disc, we do offer one additional buff with the receipt of the original service if the disc is still having issues.

Battery Replacement

All of our locations currently offer a battery replacement service for specific cartridge based games that require an internal battery to save game data or track internal clocks. The service is not a guaranteed fix, as the issues can sometimes not reside in the battery’s function. This is not a cartridge repair. Please keep note of previous damage or issues with the game and notify the store associate before undergoing the service.

Warranty

We offer warranties on all used video games, controllers, accessories, cables, and consoles. time for those warranties vary as follows:
Used games – 1 week
Cables, Controllers, and Accessories – 2 weeks
Consoles – 2 months
While a customer can return these items within those time periods for any reason, we do charge a restocking fee for items that are NOT defective that includes the tax of the original purchase.
Warranty DOES NOT INCLUDE sealed games, plushes or figures.
